On To London!

As Cannes wraps up, we want to encourage everyone to get to know the London International Awards this year. I was named the first-ever jury president for radio and we decided to put a few new twists into this year’s competition.

1) A greatly reduced entry fee in the “Conceived and Produced by Radio Station” category for RAB members who are entering for the first time. This year, it is $75 per entry as opposed to $235.

To further encourage more domestic entries, we launched a campaign, AmerWeCan, last week. Please visit the website and feel free to pass it on to your friends and colleagues.

2) A new category called the IDA (It Didn’t Air) has been introduced. In this category, any produced spot for a real client that never aired is eligible to win. This category is also $75 per entry.

A campaign for that will be coming soon.

We’ll have plenty more on London coming up so please stay tuned.

Thought you might be interested in browsing or buying the hats, bags, shirts of the new Amerwecan generation to support the launching of your new campaign. Barack Obama inspired us many months ago to create these products. I will be reading about and following your campaigns. This is great!
