Bob Souer, a veteran voiceover talent, runs a great blog that gives some very interesting perspective and insight into the V.O. world. In fact, you could consider this one of the definitive words in voiceover. On his site, you are connected to TONS of other V.O. blogs/forums and plenty of other resources that gives you an inside look at this unique craft.
Make sure you listen to his demos. Bob is nothing short of vocal bliss.
